Something new in CDO - AYALA CENTRIO

Something new is coming to CDO and i know you guys are all excited for it. On November 9, 2012, a new mall is opening here in the heart of the city. Located at C.M . Recto Avenue, the 38,000 sq. Meter mall with 3 floors will also be the entry point to Kukun hotel (Ayala's growing name for their boutique hotels) Together with the bukidnon bloggers, CDO bloggers and Iligan bloggers (which by the way was soo cool because I got to meet new friends hehe ), We requested to have a tour of what's going on inside the walls of the new mall and the exciting stores and amenities that's in store for us kagay-anons.

The name CENTRIO means "CENTER"- because it is located in the center of the City and "RIO"-means river, where Cagayan de Oro is known for!

So here we goooooo!!!!

Before we went inside we were given masks because the construction is still on going and the dusts and the smell of the paints might irritate us. That's me and my friend Mindanaoan , Miss Emz and Eia. We were also asked to wear hard hats for safety purposes.

Here is one of the leasing staff of Centrio, explaining to us the different Zones of the mall. What I'm excited about is the Alfresco area. New Restaurants are coming our way!

Here is their garden! Don't  worry guys, they're still on the process of landscaping that part.They preserved this tree as part of their outdoor garden where families can sit down, relax and dine in this cozy part of the mall. Growing up, whenever i pass by this area i would always wonder what would happen to this tree, now I know it's purpose, to bring more life in the new Centrio mall.

Now we're walking to my husband and kids favorite part of the mall! TIMEZONE!! I'm so excited for the arcade to open!! My husband and I are movie buffs! Before when we were still living in cebu, we would spend our weekends in the cinemas. Now I am so excited because they have 4 cinemas, 3 which could cater up to 200 seats and 1 3D cinemas! How cool is that. What makes it more exciting is that Taters are finally here!!

Here is the side view of the activity center where you can have events here that's said to cater up to 300 persons. And the stage is connected to the basement parking area so that you guys will be surprised to know the guests that are coming or that will be having their show.
